Synopsis
Anesthesia in General Surgery and Urology and Gynecology Procedures is a comprehensive work that systematically addresses the current principles, techniques, and strategies of anesthesia applied to surgical procedures in general surgery, urology, and gynecology. The book offers an up-to-date, evidence-based overview aimed at optimizing patient safety, pain control, and perioperative outcomes in different clinical contexts.
Throughout its chapters, fundamental aspects such as preanesthetic evaluation, selection of anesthetic techniques, intraoperative management, and postoperative care are analyzed, considering the physiological and surgical particularities of each specialty. Likewise, modern approaches to regional and general anesthesia, airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and prevention of anesthetic complications are highlighted.
